Larry Asplund, Associate Pastor

Larry came to us from Portland, Oregon by way of Columbus, Georgia. He served as a pastor from 1972 to 1988 before working in higher education as a teacher and an administrator. The pastoral call brought him back to local church ministry in 2009 as the Associate Pastor at New Community Church. He has been married to his best friend, Lynda, for 40 years. They have two grown children and four grandsons. Life outside of NCC includes science fiction and British humor.
