Transformation:

trans·for·ma·tion

Noun:
  1. A thorough or dramatic change in form or appearance.
  2. A metamorphosis during the life cycle of an animal.

Transformation is not just something we talk about, not just something we listen to sermons about, and not just something we use to fill space on our website, it's something we live for, strive for, and long for.

Transformation is also not just something that happens when we aren't looking, it's something that happens visibly, knowingly, and purposefully as we seek God, as we grow in the Holy Spirit, and as we fellowship together.

Here you will find personal transformation resources to use on the path of Transformation, Opportunities to put your words into action, and a place to share your stories.

Spiritual Formation has been defined as the growth and development of the whole person by an intentional focus on:

  • spiritual and interior life
  • interactions with others in community
  • the spiritual practices/disciplines (prayer, the study of Scripture, fasting, simplicity, solitude, confession, worship, etc.)

At New Community Church we have a specific Transformation Scorecard that describes what transformation looks like.
